watching this video is very special to me! What a difference to the John Fogerty concert I attended last week at Leipzig/Germany with a lot of drunkards yelling to his music. It’s a shame that a such a great musician need to experience something like that. If I ever will attend a show with John Fogerty, only in the US. Never in germany again. For me the audience over here is absolutely terrible!!!

Congratulations to John Fogerty. I remember taking a tour of the Baseball Hall of Fame a few years ago and finding the sheet music to “Centerfield” on display. Now “Slugger” the bat guitar can join the sheet music in the fabled hall. It was sad to hear that John’s guitars were damaged in the floods, but glad to hear that “Slugger” survived to make the trip into the Hall of Fame. Now I have an excuse to choogle on back to Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame again.

I Suppose there are occasions where the logistics of setting up a whole band for one song is just impractical-hence the miming to the track-and an unplugged Slugger guitar, while not ideal-suits the occasion. Congratulations John!

Now all John needs to do is write a song about cricket! :) Too bad the audio is out of sync with the vid.

And to think that “Say Hey” Willie Mays, mentioned in this song, was in attendance at this ceremony!

San Francisco Bay Area native? One question: Giants fan or Athletics supporter? ;-)
I’m guessing Giants because John mentions Mays…

I wonder if all the people would feel the same of him if they knew of all the illegal spanish immigrant workers that have cleaned his house and raised his children for over 20 years.

Guess his bandmates were not allowed to play at this ceremony either due to his ego.
