In the wake of Freddie Ljundberg’s departure, MLS’ Seattle Sounders have acquired Argentina’s Alvaro Fernandez. With no disrepect to the youngster, perhaps the club would be well advised to take a page from their baseball counterparts, the Mariners, in tapping into the area’s large Asian community.
